“Signature” home stretch!

signatureofallthingsHello Norwood readers, happy 2016! As you’ve probably heard, we may or may not be in for some snow this weekend. Sounds to me like this is the perfect time to hunker down with a book and stay warm.

I’m in the home stretch of our January title, “The Signature of All Things” by Elizabeth Gilbert. We still have a few copies of the print and audio copies if you want to try to plow through and join us on Tuesday 1/26 at 7:30 pm in Napper Tandy’s in the left hand-side bar. Gilbert’s novel is historical fiction, and a far cry from her memoir “Eat, Pray, Love.” Chocked full of lyrical prose, the story has lots of historical detail and takes a few unexpected turns.

And, if you can’t make it on Tuesday 1/26, join us next month on February 23 at 7:30 pm. We already have copies of the book and audiobook at the Reference desk for pick up – don’t worry, this novel is about half the length of January’s book! Let’s just say February’s book is in keeping with Valentine’s Day, but not in a cheesy romance sort of way 😉

So, grab your copy of “Signature” and join us Tuesday 1/26 at 7:30 pm for our first meeting of 2016!
